Project Management of Embassy Complex Gutting, Demolition & Reconstruction

On behalf of Polidano Bros. (Demolition and Civil Works) and E&L Enterprises (Structural Steelwork), Forward Structures were appointed project managers for the Gutting, Demolition & Reconstruction of the Embassy Complex. Valletta.

Located at the corner of two of the narrowest streets in Valletta and just adjacent the Courts of Law, this technically challenging project consisted of the dismantling of 150tons of steelwork, the demolition of around 2000tons of concrete, blockwork and stripping, followed by the modification and reconstruction of the inner area of the structure with 350tons worth of new structural steelwork, all achieved using one tower crane and four mini excavators working in parallel at different levels with a steady stream of trucks and skips daily removing debris.

The project is due for completion at the End of 2019 and will consist of a Hotel, Cinemas and Bingo Area.
