E&L Enterprises Ltd., Hal-Far (Malta)

E&L Enterprises Ltd., one of Malta’s foremost steel fabrication contractors, commissioned Forward Structures to design and build a new steel fabrication facility as part of their relocation to a larger facility.

Located on a site formerly occupied by a foundry and located at ste HHF075A in Hal Far, the project which is spread over 9000m2 of area consisted of the structural rehabilitation of the existing large roof trusses spanning over the main warehouses, the construction of a new dedicated blast room and spray booth each measuring an unsupported 22m by 22m roof, as well as a powder coating facility.

The new facility boats state of the art equipment, compressed air systems and electrical supply provided by an on-site transformer.

At the front of the facility is a new constructed Administration block, constructed out of steel and concrete, testimony to the company’s immense steel capabilities in the fabrication of structural and architectural steelwork.
